About High Flight Bourbon & Cigar Club

High Flight Bourbon & Cigar Club is a private group offering a casual environment for both experienced and aspiring bourbon enthusiasts to share the joy of fine whiskey! As the weather warms, we may even sample the occasional cigar as well. Our meetings include dinner, a monthly educational presentation, and a themed tasting of 3 unique whiskeys. During the tasting, we will discuss and grade each pour for a club running tally, which is posted here on our website, providing members with a valuable resource when making their next bourbon selection! 

"So where does the name High Flight come from?" you may ask. The name comes from my favorite poem, High Flight by John Gillespie Macgee Jr, given my aviation background, as well as the idea of sitting down and enjoying a "flight" of bourbon with friends.
